LICENSING MEETING.
Thubsday, January 26. (Before Messrs Woodward, Lewis, Dorset and Sharp, J.P.s) COACII AND HOEBES HOTKt,. In the adjournod cuse of the application Tor a transfer of the license of the above hotel, Mr Oheesman, who represented Mr Sidey and Catherine Whelan, examined Mr Sidey as to the manner in which the house h;ia been abandoned by Thompson, the former tenant. The evidence being satisfactory, the Bench cotibidered Mr Sidey was entitled to tho transfer ; but intimated that the transfer must first bo mode complete to him before it could be extended to Catherine Whelan. All the formalities having been gone through, the license was transferred to the name of Catherine Whelan.
