The premises consist of a large Building, containing Vertical and Circular Saws, capable of cutting eight thousand feet of timber per day ; also, Engine Houso and Boiler Shed. The engine was imported in 1866 from Wonfcworth's, England, and has only been in use two and a half years. It is a beam engine of 16-horso power, nominal, high aud low pressure, capable of being worked to 30-horse. The Boiler is Cornish, and steam can bo raised easily from tho rough wol slabs as they come from the saw. Attuched to the mill is a Wharf, which runs out to deep water, allowing a vessel to load to a draft of 12ft. Thero is a Smith's and Carpenter's Shop, and Boat Shed ; also, a large Storo and Counting Houso. Owing to the position of tho Storo, and other advantages, it commands tho best trade of the district.
