The following large batch of drunkards were brought up and disposed of in the following manner : —Mary Lazary, sent to gaol for six weeks ; Mary Ann M'Gregor, fined 20s; Daniel Sweeney, fined 10s; David Sproule, fined ss; John Orr, sent to gaol for a month with hard labor. John Spottiswood, John Griffiths, Henry Bragge, and William Thompson charged with assaulting the police were fined 40s each.
