In all the races (except the Handicap) mares and geldings allowed 4lbsl 2. In all the races, the second horse to save hisstakes. 4. No person allowed to enter a horse unless he is a subscriber of two sovereigns to tho Race Fund. 5. All disputes to be settled by the Stewards,, whose decision shall be final. 6. Thirty minutes will be allowed between each race and heat. 7. A bell will be rung afc the end of twenty 1 minutes for saddling, and the start will take place punctually at the half-hour ; and in the event of any horse not being at the post within fiveminutes after the bell rings for starting for any ! race, the starter shall be at liberty to start the ■ horses then present. 8. All jockeys shall appear in racing costume. The colors of the jockey must be stated afc thatime of entry. 9. The rules and regulations of the Wellington Jockey Club will be strictly adhered to. 10. Entrances for all the races (except where otherwise mentioned) to be made at MelntosVs Commercial Hotel, on Saturday, 28th March, between the hours of seven and nine p.m. All entries sent by letter, bearing the post mark of the 28th March, addressed to the Hon. Secretary,, ■will be considered as being entered in time. Ten per cent on all winnings to go to the Jockey Club Fund.
