BAVARIA.

Munich, October 10.— Afc the sitting of the Bavarian Diet yesterday, Prince Hohen- ; lohe, the chief minister of the Cabinet, made a speech, in which he discussed the question of German unity, and declared that the true policy of Bavaria was to seek union with the North German States, under the Presidency of the King of Prussia, and at the same time to take steps for the establishment of a firm and enduriDg alliance with the Empire of Austria. Should this policy bo carried into effect, the unity of the whole Fatherland would be completed, the balance of power between Austria and Prussia preserved, and the peace of Europe additionally guaranteed.
