Pesth, October 10, 1867 .—Napoleon publishes letters and other documents to prove that Louis Kossuth was engaged in intrigues with the agents of the ltussian Government in 1849. Sfc. Petersburg, October 10. The Emperor Alexander has demanded of the Sublime Porte the cession of the Island Candia to Greece. Intelligence has been received here that a sanguinary conflict has just taken place on the Turkish frontier between the Montene* grins and the Turks, which is said to have resulted in a drawn battle.
