AUSTRIA.

Vienna, Sept. 10

It ia reported that Baron Von Buesfc is maturing a plan for tho sale of the church property in Austria, and for the payment of the accumulated indebtedness of the nation with the proceeds. Baron Von Buest has re- organised the Austrian Council of Ministers. Prince Charles Von Auersberg will preside ; Dr Jon N. Berger is appointed Minister of Justice ; Giskra, Minister of the Interior ; and Herbst, Minister of Public Instruction.

In the election tor a member of tho Hungarian Diet, which took place on Monday in Pesth, the candidate put forward by the friends and supporters of Louis Kossuth was successful.

Tlie Empress Carlotta, tho wifo of Maximilian, is now at Brussels. Her health is slowly improving, and latterly, in her lucid momenta, she has taken to painting and drawing, in which in her more youthful days, she was quite a proficient. The mournful fate of her husband has not yet been unfolded to her by tho members of her family, but it is believed from her melancholy looks that she surmises what has befallen him. The eminent Belgian physician who is attending upon her has had extraordinary success in cases of insanity, and he thinks that he can cure her. He is certain that a subtle poison was administered to her in Mexico.
