ADELAIDE.
The Summer meeting of the Jockey Club takes place on December 17th and 18th. Th© Adelaide Cup will be run for at the Autumn meeting on the Bth April.
The weather has moderated. The flood* on Saturday were very heavy. The Torrenß dam was completely swept away, and considerable damage was done to several of the bridges. The foundation of the new bridge in Morphetfc street was destroyed. Onemaa was drowned.
The body of the Rev Mr Titherington has been found in a waterholo below the crossing" place on the Eiver Light.
