On Wednesday last, at 4 a.m., Captain Grant, the master of the barque, and twelve- men, took to the boats, and were picked up by the schooner Wild Wave, when they had been almost lost, owing to the very heavy sea that was running at the time. They were then taken to Astrolabe and put on board the Ann, Captain Eure kindly bringing them all on to Nelson. The barque Juno was the sole property of Captain Grant, who is a loser by this unfortunate occurrence to the extent of £1350. The vessel was insured for £2200.
