LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL.
The SPEAKER road the" proclamation convening the Parliament, and tlio mOmooi's <« the Lower House were summoned. After the members of tho Lower -HoUBO had left the Upper Chamber, the Speaker and members took the oath of allegiance to her Majesty Queen Victoria, after whioh they adjourned to Tuesday.
