Thk ' Dailj Times ' of the 21st inst., says: A ■mart shock of an earthquake was felt in Dauedin on Thursday night, about a quarter past 11 o'clock. At Caversham, it was also noticed slightly, and at Port Okalmem more distinctly than hsie. A palpable shaking of house utensils was noticed in the house of a gentleman at the Port, who gave us the information, while our informants in and around the city say there was little more than a pausing vibration: We shall be glad to hear further accounts of the earthquake from correspondents. Forty-fire Volunteers for the Auckland Militia were dispatched from Otago on the 20th inst. by the Albatross.
