The following appeared in an Independent Extr* on Tuesday, 22nd inst-1 Wellington Independent Office, Tuesday, 4 p.m. The a.s, Auckiand, arrived in this harbor at 3 o'clock this afternoon, with the English Mails onboard, having sail«d from Lyttelton yesterday 'shortly after 12 noon. She has 150 Volunteers frora Dunedin on board bound for the Seat of War at Auckland. The Auckland sails to-morrow for Napier and Auckland at 2 p.m. The following is from the Lyttelton Time* Extra, September 21 : —
