Mr W. D. Barnard reports that the market has been better supplied during the past week with heavy draught saddle and light harness horses than usual, notwithstanding which the demand still continues as active as ever, and prices quite average former quotations. Horses. — On Saturday last 10 draught mares and geldings (sold at the Eepository), realised from £45 to £79, and averaged £58 10s per head, Eleven saddle and light harness horses changed hands at prices varying from £31 to £"45 at an average of £31 10s per head.
