DUNEDIN LIVE STOCK MARKET. We take the following from Messrs. Driver, McLean & Cos. Heport of the 18th July : — Buyers of strong healthy stock continue much more plentiful than sellers, and we cannot expect any material change in present rates until the runs throughout the Middle Island become more generally stocked ; which, with our increasing consumption, will require a considerable time to effect We understand that the Provincial Government have decided upon the removal of the restrictions upon the importation of cattle from tho clean district of Gipps Land ; but no official notice of the fact has yet appeared. Fat Stock. — We sold the cargo, ex Ruby, from Wanganui, (many of them stores), at from £14 to £22. The trado are but moderately supplied with beef, and any lots of good quality coming to hand will find ready sale at about 65s per 100 lbs. Good Wethers are quoted at 33s to 355. Store Stock. — Good mixed herds are quoted at from £10 to £12 Horses.— Prices have an upward tendency ; the current rates are : — First class draught horses, £50 to £75. Medium do, £35 to £45. Inferior do, £20 to £25. Young powerful first-class hackneys, £50 to £GO. Medium do, £20 to £30. Inferior do, £7 to £18.
