TAMES LAURENCE has received instructions fj to sell by Auction, at Lloyd's Rooms, Mcli bourne, on an early day in July, I Thb Ikon Scbew Steamer YJm. Miskin, length, 100 f t; breadth, 18 ft; depth, 9fts in ; of 45 horse power, inch boilers, constructed on the multi-tubular principle, thus saving the consumption of fuel to a very great extent. Her boilers are nearly new and in first rate order, and are allowed by the best judges in Victoria to be constructed of the best material. Her Hull, together with her Machinery, Boilers, Engines, Gear, &c, &o, had a most complete and thorough overhaul on the patent slip at Williamstown, about three months ago, prior to her sailing for New Zealand — where she has been, and now is, actively and , profitably engaged, between Otago and Invereargill. ! She is fitted with Seaword's patent coupling to disconnect the screw when the ship is under canvasa. She has donkey engines, force pump, and hose — and has a large quantity of extra brasses and fittings connected with the engines, &c. I Her cargo capacity is very large for the siz eof the vessel, and has likewise, powerful winolies for discharging at fore and main hatchways. I Her capacity under hatches being capable of I holding 90 tons, besides ample room for a large deck cargo, on a draft of only eight (8) feet of water. Her speed is nine and a half (9£) miles per hour. Cabin Accommodation. She has a large saloon in the centre of the ship, and accommodation aft for engineer and firemen. Her consumption of fuel in steaming 100 miles is only ac the above average of 3 tons 3 cwt. The Auctioneer begs to call special attention to this very eligible steamship, as most suitable for a sea-going or Uiver Boat. Her extreme light draft of water, (only 8 feet) with her extraordinary carrying capacity, is enough of itself to satisfy all the requirements for any of the Coasting or Inter-Colonial trades.
