DUNEDIN LIVE STOCK MARKET.

Messrs. Wright, Robertson & Cos. Circular of the 30th March, states: —

The- market has fully confirmed our prognostications, and sustained its character for fluctuation during tho pust week, fat cattle fetching nearly 100 per cent on prices ruling three weeks ago. The cessation of shipments from Gipps Land, and scanty supplies from Wellington and Wanganui have left the market quite bare, and there seems every probability of a scarcity of beef in town for Borne time. There are numerous buyers for the diggings, who find it difficult to get supplied, und who will absorb any surplus fat stock there may be in the interior. The enquiries for good large framed stores have been frequent, and Borne rather extensive sales have taken place.

In the Bhcep market not much business has been done, though there are numerous enquiries for fat wethers for the diggings' supply,
