Public Reserve in Carterton. PROCLAMATION By His Honor Isaac Earl Featherston, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in the Colony of New Zealand. WHEREAS by ihe Land Regulations now in force in the Province of Wellington, it is declared that all Reserves for the sites of Townships or Suburban Lands, for the sites of Agricultural and Small Farm Settlements, or for any other purpose of publio advantage, safety, convenience, health, or enjoyment, shall be determined by the Superintendent who shall notify the same by Proclamation, wherein the object shall be specified for. which any Reserve shall be made: And whereas it would be of public advantage if oertain lands in the Township of Carterton were set apart for the ereotion of publio buildings thereon and for other public purposes : Now therefore, I, Isaac Earl Featherston, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in virtue of the Power aud Authority vested in me in this behalf, Do hereby proclaim and declare that Section Number Three (3), in the Township of Cartertou, containing Ten (10) acres, more or less, and bounded on the North by Section No. Two (2), on the South by Section No. Four (4) on the East by Section No. Thirty (30), and on the West by the Publio Road, is hereby reserved and set apart by me for the purposes aforesaid. Given under my hand aud issued under the Public Seal of the Province of Wellington, at Welliugton, this seventeenth L. S. day of February, One thousaud eight hundred and sixty-three. I. E.
