The Claude Hamilton had arrived at Nelson on the 30th of December, and brought later dates from Sydney to the 24th iust, but there is nothing of special importance from the latter place. The Examiner of the 3rd inst, has the following : —

These are in addition to a number of smaller nuggets from the same district.

By a private letter from the Bulier, we learn that, in addition to the nugget of 19\- ounces the Maoris had obtained a considerab le quantity of coarse gold. Bain hud fallen in quantity and had flooded the river, but sixteen canoes were waiting near the Bulier pab, so as to start up the river with men and stores.
