I In the Gazelle, Master, agent — 163 head of cattle, O'Halloran. The brigantine Sea Serpent, Captain Blair, from Ahuriri,- arrived in port yesterday morning, aftera passageof five days. Shesailed from Napier on the evening of the 15th instant; experienced fine weather until reaching Cape Paliiser. On Tuesday, it blew a gale of wind from the N.W. and lasted for about 14 hours. The Esther left Napier on the 14th, but was to call at several stations on the coast to load wool, previous to coming on to Wellington. The Sea Serpent brings five passengers, three soldiers of the 14th, a female, and a policeman.
