Isaac Barstow, the shepherd of William Mitchell, was fined the full penalty of 6s. per head for 620 scabby sheep then in bis possession on the information of the luspector. William Wilton, of Taratahi, was also fined the sum of 6d. per head for 598 scabby sheep, then in his possession, on the information of the Inspector, A mau named Beach, alias Bandale, was committed to take his trial ;it the next sittings of the Supreme Court at Wellington, for breaking into the house and shop of Miss Jians Masterton, and stealing various articles 0 wearing 1 apparel therefrom.
