QUEENSLAND.
Brisbane, 16th August. Since our report, which appeared on the 15th, of the discovery of a river, another has 'been discovered, emptying itself into the southern part of Repulse Bay. The soil on the banks is rich. It has been uamed the O'Counell River. (TH BOUGH GOBDON AND GOTCK.) NEW SOUTH WALES. Sydney, 16th August. Mr. Bolls, the well-known proprietor of Botts's Wharf, shot himself this morning, whilst laboring under a temporary fit of insanity,. A coroner's inquest will ba held this evening. The Coromandel diggings are exciting some attention, and the Lord Ashley, which sailed this morning for New Zealand, has taken a great many passengers for that gold field.
