ALL that Valuable Property known as the PIONEER HOTEL, situated in Carterton, being the centre of the Small Farm Settlements, and now doing a good trade. The "Pioneer Hotel 1 ' is new, and substantially built, with seven Bed-rooms, and six rooms on the ground floor, all neatly furnished, with new Colonial made furniture ; the out-buildings are all built of sawn timber, and consist of a Stable, capable of stabling 14 horses, a Wool Shed, that will hold 200 bales of wool a Barn, 36 feet by 18 feet, with 2 match-lined Corn Bins, capable of holding each 200 j bushels of clean grain ; a six railed Stock-yard, that will hold 300 head of cattle ; Stack-yard, Cart-shed, Pig-styes, and all the necessary Buildings to render the establishment complete. NOTICE. MOST IMPORTANT TO SHEEP FARMERS AND FLOCK OWNERS. Importation direct from Germany of Thorough Bred Merino Negretti Rams and Ewes. THE UNDER3IGNED beg to announce, that they have just received per " ColimaV" direct from Hamburg, a second shipment— consisting of. 21 Rams and 16 Ewes of the pure Merino Negretti breed, which have been consigned to them for dis posal in New Zealand. These Sheep, like the former shipment per " Hermine " have been selected from the celebrated flock of Mr. J. F. Hoffaculwger, of Weisin, in Mecklenberg, who has again shipped choice specimens of his flock to this Colony. Each particular Ram and Ewe is accompanied by a pedigree attesting the purity of the blood, and the Importers repeat thai the average weight of fleece obtained from this flock is from 3j t* 41b of clean washed wool frem the Ewes, and from 7to6lbsfrom the Rams ;this fact taken in connexion with fie quality of the fleece ia length, fineness and evenness of staple, make it very desirable to Wool Growers, to introduce this particular breed, for the general improvement of their flocks.
