ARMY SERVICE. COMMISSARIAT, Wellington, 30th May, 1862. SEALED TENDERS (iv duplicate) will be received at this Office, until noon of Saturday, the 7th June, 1862, fi-om persons willing to contract for supplying, the undermentioned articles to the Commissariftt, at this station, for the period from the Ist July nex', to the 31st March, 1863 viz. : — FORAGE FOR HORSES AT PER RATION. The ration to consist of 81bs. Maize or Oats, 41bs. Bran, 121bs Hay, and 41bs Wheaten or Oaten Straw. __The conditions of Contract, will be the same iv every particular, as those published in the Wellington Independent newspaper, of the 24th December, 1811. Any further information that may be required with forms of tender, will be supplied, on application being made at this office. NAVAL SERVICE. COMMISSARIAT, Wellington, 30th May, 1862. SEALED TENDERS (iv duplicate), will be received at this office, until noou of Saturday, the 7th June, 1862, from persons willing to contract for supplying the undermentioned articles to the Commissariat at this station, for the period from the lat July next, to the 31st March, 1863, viz,:— Biscuits, Sugar, (Company's Pieces), Chocolate, Tea, Salt Pork, Salt Beef, flour, Suet, Currants, Raisins, Mustard, Pepper, Lemon Juice, and Mixed Vegetables, at per pound each — Rum, Split Pens, Oatmeal, Sperm OiJ, and Vinegar, at per Imperial Gallon each. The whole of the above articles to be included in one tender, and delivered on board ship, (free from any extra charge), at such times, and in such quantitias as may be directed by the Commissariat, in proper packages such as are usually provided for the Naval Service. Articles specially imported or taken out of Bond for this service will be free from Colonial Duties. CONDITIONS. All supplies to be subject to the approval of the Senior Commissariat Officer, or person appointed by him for that purpose, and if rejected, other supplies of a satisfactory nature are to be at once substituted, failing which the Commissariat to hare the power of purchasing at the expense of the Contractor, and it is to be clearly understood, that tine supplies are not to be considered as finally accepted until received on board ship. All the articles to be of the best marketable quality of their several kinds. Payment will be made, monthly, on the completion of the proper vouchers by the Contraator. Each tender to bear the signature of two approved sureties for the fulfilment of the Contract.
