TI7HEREAS the Crown Land Com- * * missioner has upon the application of. William Lancaster Lucena, an intending purchaser, certified that the parcel of land hereinafter referred to, ( is, from its broken character ■ and otherwise, so unavailable for agricultural purposes, that it is not worth ten shillings per acre. I, Isaac Earl Featherston, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, Do hereby proclaim and notify that the parcel of land situate in the Featherston District, in the Wairarapa Block, containing (390) three hundred and ninety acres, and described on the Public Plan of the said District, as number (500) five hundred will be put to public auction, at the upset price of five shillings (55.) per acre, at the Crown Land Office, Wellington, on Friday, the twenty-third day of December, one thousand eight hundred and fifty-nine, at one o'clock in the afternoon, under clause eight of section three of the Land Regulations, of the Fourth day of March, one thousand eight hundred and fifty-three.
