WESTERN AUSTRALIA.

The Frolic, which arrived on Wednesday last from Swan River, brings us papers from that settlement to tho 19th February. The new Governor (Colonel Clarke) had arrived, and assumed thereius of Govern* mem. The departure of the late Governor (Mr. Hutt,),in H. M.S. Fly, for England, we noticed in our last. His Excellency took the prescribed oaths in the Executive Council on the 27th of January-last. .The following is the style and title of the new Governor:—" His Excellency Andrew Clarke, Esq., K.H., Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over the Territory of Western Australia and iis Dependencies, and ViceAdmiral of the same. His Excellency and lady arrived in the Cumberland, on tho 26th January, in which vessel there were twenty Goverment juvenile immigrants.—Sydney paper.
