The information inrnidied by the chief Te Hauparaha, to the Government,appears to have been strictly correct. While therefore cvi fy precaution is taken to prevent any injury ifom a sudden change in his policy, we hope some clear pro?p»ct of advantage to bin, if he continue faiih r ul, will be held out by the Government.
