The lovers of the pi> turesque may in tvet weather"gratifytheflT taste by a walk to Petoni. The water pf the falls, at the road-side, breaking over the road, forms elegant cascades, which from their variety would afford good subjects for an arist. If the walk be extended towards the camp, on the Butt, a mile or two beyond the Bridge, the slate of the road will be found admirably preven ive of sore feet, and altogether delightful t<> those who like their understandings to go deeply into the subject. We are told tiiat the soldiers and Militia up the Hutt, minding only their own business and not caring for that of their neighbors, prefer rushing over the -Httrlers' grounds, and destroying their growing crop*, to walking knee deep in the mud. When some one altogether disappears in the n»ad, tl'e necessity for a search will no doubt lead to repairs.
