In the event of any article offered being objected to, as not agreeing with these conditions, it will be submitted to a Board of Officers, to be appointed by the Officer commanding the Troops, and if rejected by the Hoard, it will be replaced by the Commissariat Officer, and charged against the Contractor, in the event of his neglecting to do so when required. 12th. It shall be in the power of either party t° limit the duration of the Contract by givinS in writing a notice of three calendar months, to the other party, and to end the Contract at the expiration of that period, it being understood that such notice can be given only from the first day of a month, and within the perod for which the contract is made or agreed to be made. 13th. Each Tender to be in duplicate, and to b e enclosed in an envelope, marked—"Tender for Suppiies," "Tender for Bread," or " Tender for Meat, ,, &c, as the case may be. No Tender sent in shall be withdrawn or altered, and notice of those accepting shall be given within three days of the time of opening. In all cases where persons who have tendered, refuse to fulfil their offers upon light or frivolous excuses, it will be competent for the undersigned to decline to receive Tenders from them at any future period.
