■ I By His Excellency, George Griy, E?q., LieaU I •Governor and Commander-in Chief in and owr I her M-jeity's Colony of New Zealand, aniiil | dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the ease, j fee,, &c. } Whereas by a Proclamation tearing date the 261b | day of Apiil, 1845, it was proclaimed and declared | that Martial Law would be exercised throughoct J tbat part of the Northern district of New Zealand. 5 which -lies around the Bay of Islands, (including said Bay,) and within acxrele of sixty miles in BD J direction from Russell, until the eaid district stall be relieved from the jurisdiction of Martial Lawbj public proclamation.
