PROCLAMATION.
By His Excellency George Grey, E«q. L ; ed. Governor and Commander-in-Chitf in aid over Her Majesty's c-lony of New ZeaUoi ! and us dependencies, and Vice Admiral of tie ■* same, &c, &c. ' ; Whereas by several proclamations bearing dite % re»pectively 17tb April, the *3ih May, and ibe2ad P June, 1845, the east coast of the northern iilnj I of New Zealand, from Wangarei to Monganoi, vi I Doubtless Bay, wag placed under Wociade.-ad I whereae the present circumstances of the co!mj i render it unnecessary that such blockadesbonldk P longer maintained : Now I, the Lieutenant. Governor do hereby proclaim and declare, that on and sftsr the first day of February next, the blockade of the said coast wil 'be discontinued. Given under my haed, and is>ned under the Public Seitl r>f the Colony at Government House, Auckland, this twetity«fi st day of ■January, in the year of our Lord one thoasand eight hundred and forty-six.
