Maori Tea Meetibto.— On the evening of Friday the23rd inst., a t-.a ra.eting, at which the New Zealanders were the guests, took place in th-. Wisleyan Chapul. Tlie preparations were made by Mes James Ironside and Watkin, and they were assisted by several other friend* in doing the honours <-f the table, of which there were five. The tea was " tuo much sweet," the cake parcook of the .-auie qu.dity of wh-ch nearly 1 cwt. was consumed, and as to loaves of pLin, lots of them went down the " red lane." The Missionaries uffi dated as waiters on the occasion and had plenty to do while the great business of eating was on. After tea there were speeches made, and the mao ies were catechised.
