The Mining .Mania seems to prevail to a wonderful degree, a recent purchase had been made of 20,000 acres, it was said to contain Copper to an enormcus amount. —The irihaoitants highly reprobated the introduction of conditional pardon holders horn i'asuiunia.—Governor Grey is at the meridian of his populuiity.—Salt or a very superior quality is being manufactured.—A small but neat little Theatre has been fitted up at Adelaide, and a Tncatiicul Company is imicti wanted.—Despatches had been received from Captain Sturt, announcing ihe death of Mr Pooie the second iv commanu, and the di.bCe.vcry of an oasis in a desert, where the party had formed a depot.
