BIG ATTRACTIONS FOR SATURDAY AUCKLAND CITY V WAIHI Lovers of Rugby football in Waihi will be well catered for on Saturday afternoon when the local representatives will meet the Aucland >' City Club’s senior team, the match to start at 3 o’clock. The visitors are expected to field a strong combination and as the Waihi men have drawn with Piako in the Poland Cup competition a keen and. interesting game should result. The "curtain raiser” will be a match between the Parnell (Auckland) intermediate thirds and a Waihi junior team with a weight limit of lOst 51b.

This contest has been fixed for 1.45 o’clock and should a 1 so provide good football.

The Waihi senior team will be as follows: Full-back, Thornton; threequarters, McNamara, Hume, Johns; live-eighths, Dillimore, Saunders; half, Snodgrass: rover, Price; forwards, Mathers, Radford, Allen, Robinson, Walters, Jennings, Smeaton, Emergencies: Forwards, PankUurst, Campbell; backs, McDerpiott q,nd Henry.

The junior teg\u has been selected as follows;—Full-back, Stevens; three-quarters, Campbell, Haw*, thorne, Prendeville; live-eighths, Warne, Steel; half, Burt; rove.i;, Johns; forwards, R. White,. McAra,. Mounsey, Ludwig, Ford,, Callaghan;, Comes. Emergencies:. Backs, Hayes, Cunliffc, Nis,bet; ; forwards,, Furey, C. Berryman, Saixiabury. The senior fixture will be refereed by Mr J. Maunix, and the junior by Mr R. Walsh.

Both visiting teams wiU bo entertained to a dance in St. Joseph’s Hall in the evening for which the Dixie Boys’ Orchestra has been engaged.
