AEROPLANE WRECKED
CRASHES TO THE EARTH. FIVE' PERSONS KILLED. (Australian and N.Z. Cable.! (Received Mav 4. 8 p m.) LONDON, May 3. A big Handley Page flying machine, which left the aerodrome at Andover with seven passengers, practising night flying, stopped in midair, owing to engine trouble, and crashed to the ■'round, whence it collided with a shod, and took fim Five persons were killed, the victims being pinned under the machine, and roasted to death. The survivors wore badly burned.
