The Burglar Fired At By Telegcaph.—Presg Association. ; Eltham, this day A. soMBWHAT exciting burglarly occurred early this morning. The watchman'dig. covered ovidenco of an entry, into Eobb'a drapery establishment, and entered the premises on a tour of investigation, Ho found the burglar, busy with the till. The burglar on boingdieturbed diishod through the back onlrance and sot away, although tho watobuM fired at him. Investigations proved that other shops hid been entered.
The polioo arrested a native named Wbakaruru What™ as he was leaving for AVanganui, Incriminating documents' were found in his possession.
