Thh Australian Workers' Union announces that its policy in the coming shearing season will ba the same as that of last season, exoopting the abolition of the daily wage system iu the New South, Wales. The union adds: "Not that we have abandoned our claim to better wages or conditions, the vast improveent in the prospects of the pastoral industry having strengthened these claims. The membership has increased nearly five thousand. A scheme of amalgamation has been completed which binds the genuine bush unionists in one body throughonc the Commonwealth for the purpose of collecting evidence ] in the coming seasoD, with the object of j placing before the Arbitration Court a claim for better wages." '
