By Telegraph.—Proas Association Nafiek, this day. Tub Stipendiary Magistrate has investigated two charges against James Poroy Holroyd, fomiorly in a position of trust at Nelson Bros. Freeing Works at Tamoann, and Thos. Honry Gibson, for nineteen years in the employment of the New 7mland Clothing Factory, of stealing guilds to tho value ofX'M and £l6 from Hallcnstoin Bros. Tho ovidonco wont to show that Uolrovd obtained goods from Gibson, who failed to bliow any record of tho transactions, A number of witnesses from tho Freezing Works deposed to buying articles of elotlmig from Hohoyd as cheap rotes, and said that anything ihcy asked for would be supplied. The muuagor of the factory, in his evidence, said it had boon known fcr some timo tta there had been'alcakago in the stock, but he had been unabln'to discover tho cmiao. Aocused, who pleadod not guilty, wore committed for trial. Hail of i'GOO ouch was allowed.
