Zealand reed to the General Assembly to-day a considerable amount of information had been gathered on the question of superannuation. The income for the past year, including the balance brought forward was £3140 and the expenditure £3443. The balance at the end of the year was £1466 or £3OO less than the previous year. The expenditure for the current year was estimated at £3300, and this does not Svide for any expenditure not oruily borne by the fund. The committee recommended!: (1) That the assets on congregations be as in table attached; (2) that the income from debentures be assessed at 2£ per cent., and the income from other investments at 5 per cent. The report was adopted.
