‘ LONDON, Nov. 20. _ A- number of hold-ups occurred in Dublin, including the theft of £IOOO from the Amiens street railway station, including old age pensions. John Kavanagh, a grocer’s assistant, was arrested at Lowestoft on a charge of murdering a policeman at Wexford. Two soldiers were killed ‘at Catloe while a military guard was being attacked. ; ■ •

The estimated total value of the land subject to compulsory purchase under the Bill is seventy millions. Landlords will be paid by five per cent, bonds, redeemable by periodical drawings.
