SPIRITUALISM AND RELIGION

SIR CONAN DOYLE’S VIEWS,

SYDNEY, Nov. 18. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, at a second crowded lecture, dealt with the religious side of spiritualism. He claimed' that if pyschical research was a proper thing, as the churches admitted,, he could not see why they did not 'go further and let it impinge upon religion. v If Christian sects got out of their narrow cliques and took a broader view tfiey would understand that spiritualists were an helpful ally.
