RACING COMMISSION
THE PERSONNEL ANNOUNCED. (Ter United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Nov. 2. , The personnel of the Racing Commission which is to consider the redistribution of racing permits was announced by the Minister of Internal Affairs, the Hon. G. J. Anderson, to-day. It is .comprise'd of three North Island and two South Island gentlemen, representation being on the population basis. The members are: Messrs F. Earl, K.C., • Auckland (chairman); W. E. Bidwell, farmer, • Featherston; W. H. Moorhouse, solicitor, Wellington; J. H. Williams, solicitor, Christchurch; and Major S. Rice, auctioneer, Wyndham. The order of reference is now being drawn up, but the date of the first meeting has not been fixed.
