HAWKE CUP MATCH. The Poverty Bay Cricket Association wrote, offering the Ist. 3rd, and 4th, cl the 3rd, 4th, 1 and 6th of January, as dates for the Lord Hawke Cup match at Gisborne. It was decided to accept the Ist, 3rd and 4th of January as dates for the match, and to write to the hon. secretaries of each senior club, asking them to forward the names of all flayers available to make the trip. In view of the expenditure on junior grounds, and the cost * f sending the representative team to Gisborne, it was decided to make special collegium at Cook’s Gardens each Saturday to pive supporters of the game an opporvuuty of assisting the Association financially. CHAMPIONSHIP MATCHES. Discussion took place regarding the method of awarding championship points. the following method of scoring was decided upon: Five points for a win outright; tirec points for a win on the first innings; and one point for a draw. REPRESENTATIVE MATCHES The hon. secretary was instructed to write to the Mariawatu Cricket Association inviting them to send a representative team to play a match against Wanganui on December 27 and 28. It was also decided to invite the Wellington Cricket Association to suggest dates for a Wellington v. Wanganui match at Wanganui. , GROUND FEES. It was resolved -that all clubs be notified that the ground fees for each match must be handed in to the hon. secretary on the Monday following each match.
