FOOTBALL
At last night’s meeting, of the Otago Rugby Union a letter was received from Mr Combe, secretary of the New Zealand Rugby Union, in which he stated that his Union is still waiting for an official letter of acceptance of New Zealand’s invitation to a South African team. He further stated that the South African party would consist of 29 players and a manager, and that: the estimated cost of the tour was <£Booo.
