DIVORCE CASE

■ ALLEGED ADULTERY. (Per United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Nov. 1. Allegations of adultery were made against Ernest Frank Andrews, secretary of the Auckland Returned Soldiers’ Association by his wife, Mary Andrews, who petitioned for divorce at the Supreme Court to-day before Mr Justice Cooper and a jury. The, petition stated that the parties were married at the Methodist Church, Avondale, in 1909 and they afterwards lived in Auckland, Wellington, Palmerston North and agam in °Auckland. There were two children (boys), one 10 years old and the other 8. It was alleged that on October 7th, 1916, and on various other dates between March 1, 1910, and February, 1918, respondent committed adultery with a certain woman. The defence was a denial of the allegations. The case has not concluded.,
