SEEDS BILL

(By Telegraph—Special to “Herald”). WELLINGTON, October 29. The Minister of Agriculture has introduced a Seeds Bill, prescribing that in sales of over 1-Ub the vendors must supply written particulars, including the percentage of germinating power and extraneous matter.. The purchaser or any inspector under the Act may take seed samples for analysis, the result of which may be published. A fine of £lO for a first offence and .£SO for subsequent offences is provided for breaches of the Act.
