PROTECTING ARMENIAN INTERESTS. Received August 27, 10,40 a.m. WASHINGTON, August 25. The British Embassy terms as sheer nonsense the charge made by Representative Britten, of Illinois, that 87,500 dollars furnished by Ambassador Gc-ddos from the British Government found their way into the Democratic campaign chest. Ambassador Geddcs will later make an official statement iu denial.
