WORKERS’ EDUCATIONAL ASSOCIATION

(Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, August The first Dominion conference of the Workers’ Educational Association opened to-day. There was some discussion on a motion by Mr J. M. A. Ilott (Wellington), “that the scope of the Workers’ Educational Association shall bo cultural and not vocational,” and it was decided to refer the question to a committee for a report. On the motion of the Hon. J. A. lianau, it was decided “that a national organisation be formed with a view to linking up the various activities 'of the Workers’ Educational Association’s work in this country, and to bring about co-ordina-tion of the work on national lues, and with ' that object in view a Dominion constitution be drawn up.”
