ENTERIC GROUP DISEASES. Received August 25, 10.40 a.m. BRISBANE, August 25. Dr. Tavlor. in bis presidential address a: the Medical Congress, dealing with naval and military surgery, said that- compound fractures and bone injuries had left au .nnionse legacy of patients with septic food in their bones, necessitating judicious operative treatment for y.-ars to come. The value of protcct ve inoculation against enteric group diseases was hound to have farreaching and beneficial results in the civilian life of Australia. Thanks to inoculation, there wore only 266 deaths in. the whole of the British army in France, as against lb*,Wo deaths among the troops in south Africa.
