FOOTBALL
On Saturday afternoon last, on the College ground, a football match was played tetweeu employees of the Aramolii Brickyard and the New Zealand Casein Factory. After a very hard <-amc, victory rested with the Bnckmen” bv three points (a penalty goal) to nil. The teams met in the evening at the Assembly Booms. After the usual loyal toasts had been honoured, a most eniovabU evening was spent. Mr C. K. Hooper, manager of the Aramoho Bnokv.oiks, presided. WANGANUI RUGBY UNION. The Management Committee of the above met on Monday night The vote to the Schools’ Union for the visit ot the school reps, to Wellington next month was increased to £ls. Considerable discussion eventuated ov.r the Taihape Sub-Union’s .action, the Committee adjourning until this evening to further consider the matter.
