AMERICA CUP.
THE CANADIAN CHALLENGER. Received August 23, 10.15 a.m. OTTAWA, August 20. Mr Ross has announced at Montreal that Mr Charles Nicholson had accepted a commission to design the Maple Leaf, the proposed challenger for the America Cup. The preliminary work will be carried on in England and the completion of construction in Canada.
